Looking to get more involved in the Tessitura community?

The Tessitura community is at the heart of all that we do. From new users to seasoned experts, the Tessitura community is comprised of passionate people who know that arts and cultural organizations do best when they work together. There are a number of ways to get involved and deepen your engagement with the community.

Become a Tessitura Community Chair

Our community groups are where Tessitura members come to expand their networks, share their expertise, and connect with peers around common interests.

Community groups are led by some of the most passionate Tessitura users out there. If you are looking to deepen your connection with Tessitura –  the technology, the members, and the arts and culture industry as a whole – we invite you to join us as a leader for one of our regional, topical, or affinity community groups. You’ll be surprised by the impact you can have on people’s lives, careers, and institutions as a leader.

Tessitura Community Chairs volunteer their time to build these groups and host meetups that bring members together to share best practices and build relationships. Each community group is led by two to three co-chairs and may also have an extended planning team. Community groups are expected to meet virtually or in-person at least once per year. Previous experience in group management or facilitation is not required, and Tessitura provides support and resources to anyone interested in growing as a Community Chair.

Community DEAI Advisory Committee

The Community DEAI Advisory Committee provides a point of substantive communication and collaboration between the Tessitura community and the company. The advisory committee also aims to inspire Tessitura members to advance diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion in their organizations and in the arts and culture sector.

The advisory committee is comprised of eight members, each of whom is employed by an organization using Tessitura. Each member serves a two-year term and is compensated US$500 per year for their time and emotional labor.

Applications for the 2025 Community DEAI Advisory Committee are open through Nov. 12, 2024. For 2025, we plan to seat three new advisory committee members who will join five current members. We seek a broad range of representation and lived experience to join us in this important work.
