Andrew Chew, Ticketing and CRM Systems Manager at Arts and Culture Trust
in Western Australia, volunteers as chair of the Perth Tessitura Community.
In our latest Q&A Andrew shares how varied his work is, how Tessitura supports the work of their consortium and the value he gets from the Tessitura community.
1. What does a typical day include for you?
Working with 10 member organisations across a multi-genre consortium here in Perth certainly keeps me busy and my typical day very interesting. I enjoy being in meetings with any one of our consortium members discussing development strategy on one day and then getting stuck into building out a personalised feature or report for another member the next day. No days are ever the same. It’s a privilege to be able to work with so many organisations who are passionate about their work and committed to championing the arts here in Perth!

2. How does Tessitura support the work you do?
Tessitura has assisted with how each of the consortium member organisations operate across the CRM, development and ticketing spaces. The platform also accommodates for non-standard requirements making it flexible to suit each member organisation's needs.
3. Why is the Tessitura community important to you?
Being a part of an arts community working towards the same goals and being able to network with other Tessitura-powered organisations across the globe has been invaluable for me.

4. What’s going to be great at this week’s gathering?
It will be our first gathering for 2022, so it will be great to see everyone in person again! We plan to have structured breakout sessions and network with arts colleagues from other Tessitura organisations in Perth.
